Chengkan Ancient Village

A recent visit to a less touristy and disneyfied ancient Chinese village built along Huizhou architectural design at Huangshan, Anhui about 500 years ago. The place is well-maintained. No turnstile at the village entrance compared to other commercialised villages like Hongcun and Xidi but there's still a small fee to pay for the visit.

Take a stroll while soaking in the scenery or watch art students do their assignments. One can also recite poetry at the crossing of the moon bridges. Just to relive ancient times!
